FY 2008 UNIFIED PLANNING AND WORK PROGRAM (UPWP) PROPOSED AMENDMENT ONE
The FY 2008 UPWP allocated $140,000 in 80% PL and 20% matching funds for Element 300: Long Range Planning.
From these dedicated funds, no more than $14,000 will be utilized on a contract between the University of Arkansas and the AHTD enabling the U of A to assist in the Element 300 Work Task:
Transportation Modeling A; subtasks 1 a and b. These subtasks will be expanded to include the creation of road networks, population, and employment allocations for the forecast years 2010, 2015, and 2030.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed amendment through Saturday, January 12, 2008. Comments will be received through email, phone calls, 479-571-7125, or written comments.

On January 14, 2008 a ballot with the proposed amendment and summary of the comments will be sent to all TAC and Policy Committee members. Votes will be tallied on January 16, 2008.

This notice is in accordance with the 2030 Northwest Arkansas Regional Transportation Plan, the Federal Transportation Act, and SAFETEA-LU, in cooperation with local agencies,
the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, the Federal Highway Administration, and the Federal Transit Administration.
